What size should a LinkedIn Featured image be?
1200×627 pixels (about 1.91:1) is the standard size for LinkedIn link previews and Featured thumbnails. This tool exports exactly that.
How do I add a custom thumbnail to my Featured section?
On your profile go to Featured, click + and add a link or media. When adding media, upload this image. For links, edit the item and replace the thumbnail with your image where LinkedIn allows it.
What makes a good Featured image?
A short, specific title (the result or topic), large readable text and one strong colour. Avoid small text, because thumbnails are shown small on phones.
Can I use it for LinkedIn posts and other sites?
Yes. 1200×627 is also the standard Open Graph size used by Facebook, X and most websites for link previews.
